CO2 Operations Technician I

Skills Required:
o At least three years of operations experience in an industrial plant is preferred
o Strong mechanical aptitude
o Will be expected to work weekends
o Must be willing to take 24 hour on-call responsibilities and work night shift as required when plant issues arise
o Must be a self starter and willing to work alone
o Team player that is flexible and has a positive attitude
o Must have good written and oral communication skills
Duties &
Responsibilities:
o Operating the facility in a safe and efficient manner
o Controlling and monitoring the process to product Liquid CO2 for shipment to the customers
o Perform tank and batch sample analyses
o Providing hands on support or assisting in plant equipment mechanical repairs and troubleshooting as required
o Following operating procedures and plant safety standards at all times
Education/Training/Certifications:
o High School Diploma/GED
Physical Requirements:
o Must be able to climb ladders and steps and lift up to 50 lbs
o Will be exposed to high noise levels
o Be able to meet call-in requirements
o Elevated work required - platforms or scaffolds, mainly platforms Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
